Hill Lemon (Galgal/Citron) is a large, fragrant Himalayan citrus fruit with a thick rind, widely used in Indian cuisine and traditional medicine. It is considered one of the original citrus fruits from which many modern citrus varieties developed, and is native to the foothills of the eastern Himalayas in Uttarakhand, where it is also known as Khate, Big-Lemon, or Kumaon lemon.
Our refreshing Hill Lemon Concentrate is pulpy, tangy, and full of goodness. The entire process—from carefully plucking fresh fruits to peeling, extracting the juice, and preparing the concentrate—is done by hand by local pahari village women, helping preserve traditional methods and authentic flavour.
