Locally pronounced as “bicchoo ghas”, the Himalayan Stinging Nettle are wildly grown in the Organic Himalayan soil and gather a lot of nutrients and benefits from their area.  The plant boasts pretty, heart-shaped leaves and yellow or pink flowers, but the stem is covered in tiny, stiff hairs that release stinging chemicals when touched. Interestingly, the leaves in their natural form can cause much pain to the person who grabs or holds them, while the same when carefully plucked can be used to make remedies for a host of ailments. 

Stinging nettle’s leaves and root provide a wide variety of nutrients, including

  • Vitamins: Vitamins A, C and K, as well as several B vitamins
